HERE'S HOW IT WENT DOWN
After Navy... retrieved her ship Lapis and I returned to farm life with Pumpkin. We heard very little from any of the diamonds or other gems from space until BLAM, KAPOWIE! Two other gems landed on earth in escape pods from home world! Why would anyone want to escape home world! A few of the gems we spoke to told us everything.
Apparently Yellow diamond is really cracking down on gems that have strong relations with one another, or those that fuse. For example, they reported that a ruby fusion that belonged to an Aquamarine was shattered for being together for too long. Not to mention now she's started searching for miss-colors more harshly, and they too are shattered if discovered, or if they are created. Runts, mistakes, trouble makers, all starting to loose faith not only in the empire but in their diamonds while Blue sits idly by and watches as Yellow shatters gem after gem for very dumb reasons. I'm glad Lapis and I are here on Earth, and though I don't like sharing, I hope more gems are able to escape the clutches of home world.
