"Go to Earth, Peridot." Came the green gem's low mocking tone from where she sat, piloting the ship and charting their course back to earth. "It'll be easy, Peridot, don't complain, Peridot." She huffed and glanced to the Jasper who had bend assigned as her guard formte time being. By her knowledge most Amethysts and Jasper's came from the very planet they were going to, and she had heard her fare share of rumors about the world. ... The peridot just wanted to get back to tending to the kindergartens of homeworld, but the damn job hadn't been easy at all! Someone kept breaking her things, those crystal whatever's!
"You," she finally spoke to the Jasper with a bored tone, "You don't seem too happy about this mission either. Can't say I blame you. From the rumors, Earth gems would have really helped out the colonies if it werent for those damn rebels. Not that I was there. You were though, right? You look like you've seen some stuff."

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Jasper glanced at the Peridot she was with, severely agitated (which was not at ll abnormal for her). She wanted to get to that stupid planet, Earth, and eradicate the supposed Gems that were left on the surface, and she wanted to get there now. The Peridot clearly did not understand what was the mission at hand. This was not just a "check up on some dumb thing" mission: this was a matter of Homeworld's pride. With the last of the Gems on Earth gone, pride could be restored. Jasper's pride could be restored. Rose Quartz had stripped everything from her, so it was only fair that she stripped everything back.
Her arms were crossed in a way that said she would crush your gem in her hands if you bothered her about anything she deemed trivial (she deemed everything trivial, though). Then the pilot spoke to her, sounding extremely bored. Jasper was barely staying still, raring to go. This Peridot was bored, probably wishing she was back on Homeworld doing something more interesting. Well, if the rumors were true, this would indeed be interesting. It would show this stuck-up techie what-for.
"Hmph," she said in response to most of the words spoken to her, "I was there. I destroyed every rebel I came into contact with."
She sounded proud of her achievements, but something in her tone implied it was a hollow victory, that she had definitely seen some terrible things. Notes template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0 |

"Sounds like it took its toll. I can't imagine fighting, me, a peridot in battle?" She pressed a few buttons to accelerate ship and set it on auto pilot. And why bring the Lapis prisoner with us? Not that I'm questioning my diamonds authority,
but I mean, shouldn't we be more informed of our objective?" She started to walk about the ship, pacing, and pinching the bridge of her nose. "They should have sent ten peridots! And-and Twenty Jaspers! This is ludicris, my things are being destroyed!"

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath "Hmph... You'd be shattered almost instantly. If it's true that Peridots are that sturdy though, I'd give it an extra thirty seconds," Jasper said. She was leaning against the wall of the ship, arms crossed, observing her charge press buttons. Did they really need Gems just to press buttons? Seemed like a waste of resources. Could have used whatever was put in to make Peridot to make another Quartz. But whatever it was her Diamond's decision. She wanted to gag thinking of Yellow Diamond as hers. That no-good, arrogant clod of dirt was not fit to have a Jasper like her seving her!
"The Lapis supposedly spoke with the rebels themselves..." Perhaps with Rose Quartz herself, if she was to be trusted. "She will know how many and where their base is."

The green technician gem huffed and turned her blank expression on Jasper, looking over the woman thoughtfully, though her lips didn’t move from the blank scowl, regardless of her excitement or annoyed feelings that mixed together from the mission. ”Maybe if you do a good job out here then Yellow Diamond will take you out of that stupid zoo. Can’t be fun, guarding that place.” She hummed and looked out the window.
“Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond are so different. Yellow wants to get rid of the zoo and Blue wants to continue to wallow in it. I hope Pink wasn’t like either of them, though Yellow is amazing in every way, she can be a little… prude. Trigger happy. If Pink had a zoo of humans… What was she thinking? It’s a waste of time and materials as well as soldiers!”
